NATIONAL AWARD TO TEACHERS

The National Teacher Award is given every year to selected teachers on the basis of the standards set by the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India. Teachers make their online application for this award, after which the list of teachers meeting the standards is checked by the District Level Screening Committee and sent to the state along with the attached application. After that, the State Level Screening Committee, vetted and graded these teachers on the basis of excellence in their work and service. Keeping in mind the excellence, maximum three teachers are nominated finaly for this award by the member committee of the director under the chairmanship of the secretary. The nominated teachers are re-screened by the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India and selected for the said award. The selected teacher is honored by the President of India. For National Teacher Award-2019, two teachers of the state Mrs. Nirupama Kumari, Assistant Teacher, Ramrudra +2 High School, Chas, Bokaro and Mr. Smith Kumar Soni, Assistant Teacher, Ra. Middle School, Bano, Simdega got selected. For the National Teacher Award-2020, Shri Manoj Kumar Singh, Assistant Teacher, Hindustan Mitra Mandal Vidyalaya, Jamshedpur, East Singhbhum has been selected. Link of National Award to Teachers:

NATIONAL ICT AWARD :- National ICT Award is given by NCERT to such teachers who have successfully used modern techniques in teaching-learning processes. To apply this award, teachers send online applications to NCERT. As a nodal agency JCERT Reviews the profile and work of applicant teachers and as far as possible sends three names to NCERT for final selection.

For the year 2019, the following two teachers of our state have received the National ICT Award -

  1. Mrs. Shweta Sharma, Vivekananda Middle School, Deoghar
  2. Smt. Nirupama Kumari, Ramrudra +2 High School, Chas, Bokaro
