National Yoga Olympiad 2022
National Yoga Olympiad - 2022 is being organized at NCERT New Delhi from 18th to 20th June 2022 on the occasion of International Yoga Day, 21st June, as per the directions of National Council of Educational Research and Training.
4 boys and 4 girls in the age group of 10 to 14 level and 4 boys and 4 girls in the age group of 14 to 16 selected from the state have to participate in the National Olympiad.
JCERT organized the State Level Yoga Olympiad 2022 at JCERT Campus on 14th May 2022. 2 students and 2 girls in the age group of 10 to 14 and 2 boys and 2 girls from age group 14 to 16 were selected from the district by conducting yoga competition in the school/block/district level were sent to JCERT for state level yoga Olympiad 2022.
A total of 66 participants from 17 districts along with their escort teachers participated in the State Level Yoga Olympiad. 5 Yogacharyas who were invited as jury members in this Olympiad, were Dr. Parineeta Singh, Manoj Kumar Soni, Meet Prasanna Majumdar, Amya Anshu and Mukesh Kumar Mahato.
The children were selected by doing yoga activities as per the guidelines given by NC ERT. A total of 16 participants were selected to go to Delhi and their enthusiasm was increased by giving mementos. In addition, all the participants were given a certificate of participation in the competition.
The state level selected children were called to report at JCERT on 15th June and their orientation was done for final Olympiad. All participants were flagged off with an encouraging address delivered by the Deputy Director, Academics Shri Banke Bihari Singh before departing by train on 16th June along with two escort teachers to attend the National Yoga Olympiad held in Delhi from 18th to 20th June.
School Leadership Oreintation Workshop :-
School Leadership Orientation Workshop was organized by Teacher Education Department of JCERT on 2006.2022 and 21.06.2022 in JCERT campus.
In this workshop, orientation was done by Dr. Charu Mallick, Jharkhand Coordinator, National Center for School Leadership, NIEPA, New Delhi. For school leadership programme, a core committee of 16 teachers has been formed, which will monitor this program throughout the year.
